Pope's butler arrested in leaks scandal

(CBS/AP) VATICAN CITY - The Vatican has confirmed reports of an embarrassing scandal inside the pope's household.
Spokesman the Rev. Federico Lombardi on Saturday said Paolo Gabriele was arrested in his home inside Vatican City with secret documents in his possession.
Vatican documents leaked to the press in recent months have pointed to power struggles and accusations of corruption touching senior Vatican cardinals.
Gabriele, a layman who lives inside Vatican City, was arrested Wednesday and was still detained Saturday, the Vatican spokesman the Rev. Federico Lombardi said in a statement.
